Early Childhood (for educators of children ages 3-5)
Institute for Early Education and Care Professionals - 12-hour modules
(spring, summer, and fall)
This institute is made up of three 12-hour modules specifically designed for educators of children ages 3–5. Together, these three modules cover the entire Project Construct early childhood curriculum framework. Institute participants construct an understanding of Project Construct in particular and developmentally appropriate practice and constructivist theory in general.
It is recommended that Module 1 be taken first; Modules 2 and 3 may be taken in any order. The fee for each 12-hour module is $325 per person.

This 30-hour institute is designed to provide early childhood (pre-k and kindergarten) educators with the resources they need to implement a developmentally appropriate, learner-centered approach in their classrooms.
The registration fee for this 30-hour institute is $725 per person. This fee includes all institute materials.

Advanced Institutes - 6 or 12-hour institutes (summer only)
Advanced institutes are designed for educators who have already completed either the Institute for Early Childhood Educators or all three modules of the Institute for Early Education and Care Professionals. These institutes provide opportunities to focus more closely on the areas of assessment, learning communities, literacy, or mathematics. They are customized to meet the specific needs of participants and offer many opportunities for networking with facilitators and other participants.
The fee for each 12-hour institute is $325 and the fee for each 6-hour institute is $175 per person. (Rates subject to change)

Kindergarten and 1st Grade (for kindergarten and elementary educators)
K-1 Institute - 30-hour institute (summer only)
This institute is especially designed to provide kindergarten and first-grade teachers with the resources they need to implement a developmentally appropriate, standards-based approach in their classrooms. The content of these institutes focuses on reading, writing, mathematics and science, as well as on building a strong learning community.
The registration fee for this 30-hour institute is $725 per person. This fee includes all institute materials.

K-1 Advanced Math Institute - 12-hour institute (summer only)
This 12-hour institute provides past K-1 participants with a deeper understanding of how to implement learner-centered math curriculum. It also provides opportunities to examine both the teacher’s and the students’ roles in a constructivist math environment. The fee for the 12-hour institute is $325 per person.
