    This informational brochure explains the history and mission of the Project Construct National Center, as well as the guiding principles of the Project Construct approach.  
    Project Construct Resource Catalog  
    The resource catalog includes information about resource materials, guidelines for assessment (including early childhood teacher evaluation guidelines), newletter compilations, and videos available for purchase from the Project Construct National Center.  
     
    Project Construct: The Early Childhood Framework for Curriculum and Assessment (2nd edition)  
    The Framework is a comprehensive guide for educators of children ages 3–7 interested in implementing a rigorous, theory-based approach to teaching. Available only through attendinga Project Construct early childhood introductory institute.  
     
    Project Construct and Developmentally Appropriate Practice: How Children Benefit  
    This article includes the results of research studies comparing programs that used DAP with those that used more traditional, teacher-directed practices, commonly referred to as developmentally inappropriate practice (DIP). The results are grouped by Project Construct’s developmental domains: Sociomoral, Cognitive, Representational, and Physical.  
     
    Overview of Project Construct for Parents  
    PCNC has developed an information flyer that explains the Project Construct approach to parents and families. This flyer is available to teachers implementing Project Construct for distribution to the families of their students.  
     
    Preparing for MAP Testing in the Constructivist Classroom  
    PCNC has developed an information flyer that explains how students in constructivist classrooms develop skills that help them be successful with performance items on standardized tests such as the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP).  
     
    Project Construct Connections: A Newsletter
for Adminstrators
 
    Connections is a newsletter for district, building, and agency administrators that supports their work with Project Construct teachers and caregivers.  
     
    Missouri Preschool Project (MPP) Grants  
    The information packet provides an overview of Project Construct, one of the approved models for research-based curricula that is required for project grant proposals.  
     
    Links Betweeen Project Construct Goals and Missouri Pre-K and Show-Me Standards  
    This document links the Project Construct goals and Missouri standards for early childhood educators.
