Overview of Project Construct for Parents/
Preparing for MAP Testing in the Constructivist Classroom

Parent/family support and involvement is an important component of every successful educational program. And since Project Construct classrooms can look very different from classrooms of the past, families often have questions about this approach to teaching and learning. To meet this need, the Project Construct National Center provides teachers with a copymaster of information flyers directed to families. These flyers explain the principles behind the approach, gives examples of student activities, and describes the benefits to students. In addition, they emphasize that this approach is linked to rigorous state and national standards.
